Lessons
Lessons are available for all levels of riders from beginner through advanced in the sport horse disiplines. Chestnut Ridge maintains a small string of quality school horses suitable for riders of varying levels. Our horses have been selected for their manners and suitability. You may also ship into our facility for lessons on your own horse. Chestnut Ridge has a number of instructors to match your interestes and learning needs. Lesson students perticipate in the care and preperation of their horses and will be instructed in the use of tack and equipment. Students also learn about a variety of subjects, including bandaging, braiding, horse care, and stable management. Our instructors are commited to providing you with quality lessons every time giving you a sense of acheivement and goals to work towards.

Horse Shows
If you are a competitve rider, there are many showing opportunities available. Chestnut Ridge hosts six to seven shows every year and we also travel to shows through every season. Whether you are looking to compete in your first Introductory Dressage Test or are looking to move up to Training Level Eventing we can trailer and accomodate your needs. If you are a serious competitor half or full lease a horse at Chestnut Ridge and ride three to seven days per week and hone your skills! Talk to your instructor about upcoming shows. |
